Couponing..

Today was my first day of REAL couponing! I must say I did pretty darn good! I saved $20 all together!! That is awesome for a first go. Everything I bought was for back ups so we didn't have to buy them in a pinch. AKA Tooth paste, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner and laundry detergent. I felt amazing getting it done! 

Now I'm working on our weekend trip! I can't wait for the Sunday paper. I'm going to try to get Seth to get the printer up and working so I can print some off instead of having to wait till the wednesday flyer or Sunday. I'm honestly just doing this so that we can save for a house and since I'm not in the best job I could have, I have to save money some how!!

I've also started looking at "kid" stuff to buy. Breath... No were not pregnant. I'm looking for the lotions because for one, I enjoy them and Two, if we do happen to get pregnant hey look we saved money before hand and not having to run out and get those little things when we really need them!! 

OK off to look up what's on sale!!

Well we missed a whole year..

So in the past year, we got married, went on a honeymoon and dealt with lots of drama. Yes drama, while we were engaged. I must say that was by far the worst year I've had in a long time. People love to start drama but never say they did it or try to end it. So weird. If it weren't for Seth, I would have a nervous break down!

So since we've been married, I have had a amazing time! Since all the stress is gone, no wedding to plan for, just to plan the rest of our lives together. It's been amazing! We've never laughed so much together or had SO much fun together! This is how We know we married the right person. We've done LOTs of stuff since we've been back from our Honeymoon(which by the way I wish NEVER ended) being back to the grind of things kinda sucks! I loved being able to spend so much time with Seth. He works nights and I work during the day, so we just pass each other. Although, I must say it makes me love him more! I truly cherish the time we have together!

ALSO the biggest question we've gotten: WHEN are you having KIDS? oh yes people come on, we just got married. Can we enjoy a couple of years together before we POP out a kid. I actually enjoy coming home to a some what clean house, no poop diapers and spit up or bottles and toys everywhere(minus the dogs toys). We would like to enjoy a couple of years of no kid bliss! We've thought about it though. When we BUY a house, that is when we will decide to have kids or should I say truly start to try. Till then.. if we had a kid it was a uh oh kid and be sure that will be their name!  haha

Our "family" decision..

So tonight we were baking together some chocolate peanut butter crunch bar, which by the way is AMAZING. The recipe is from Pampered Chef, check it out! But anyways we have decided that at LEAST, as I use that wisely, at least 3 nights a week we should cook together. Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. We decided this because, well Seth doesn't really know how to cook, and I pretty much do all the cooking.. go figure, but that way we spend some time together and it's not always me cooking. Plus we get to talk about our day and what we having coming up, and REALLY can talk wedding.

Wedding:
Yes it's going to be at The Carolina Inn, in Chapel Hill. Yes you can stay at the Inn if you'd like, but if not then we have another hotel threw my Uncle Bob(most of you know, some dont) that you are MORE than welcome to stay at. Or if none of those work, we can help you find a place to stay.

We got my dress a couple of weeks ago and it is beautiful. Every SINGLE time I put it on, I never want to take it off. Anyone else felt that way? because man, I don't ever want to take it off.
We have decided on a color "theme" I guess you could say, and it's light blue. Hello we will be at the Carolina Inn, on the Tar Heels land.. Got to go with the Light blue!!  :)

Well on that note tonight, I think it's bedtime! 11pm.. yes indeed it is.. Tomorrow is going to come bright and early and I know I'll just want to sleep in!

Engaged yet..?

Well it's our first post.. maybe I should say it's MY first post. I don't know how much Seth will post or if at all. Maybe just his imput but other than that you'll probably just get me.

So in a flash I'll give you our info.

We have known each other for about 18 years now. We went to elementary school together. Seth has a twin brother named Stewart, and truly we were better friends then Seth and I were. I did not really care for Seth that much, we like to believe it was because he made fun of Stu(who for the rest of the blogs is Stewart) I, guess we had a crush on each other. But as the years went on, we saw each other at my brother, Jacobs boy scouting events. They were all part of Troup 400, that which I attend almost EVERY single meeting.. fun.. yea I know.. But as we enter high school, I never really saw them again..
UNTIL.. one day I was on facebook, and thinking.. hmm.. I wonder how the Friskney boys are doing. So I typed in Seth's name in first and my mouth hit the floor.. thinking OH MY wow he is HOT. I had to friend him.. haha didn't take long til he wrote me a message and said lets hang out..
and seriously from that day on.. we have been together NON-stop!!

So in a nut shell I'm HEAD over heels in love. He is the best man you will EVER meet.
